Description:
Pono Pathways Shelter offers specialized care for homeless individuals battling substance abuse and mental illness. Established in 2015, the shelter serves as a rehabilitation center, providing 40 beds, detox programs, mental health counseling, and therapy services to over 1,000 individuals since its inception. Our mission is to create a structured environment that promotes recovery and long-term stability. Through partnerships with healthcare providers and addiction specialists, we offer comprehensive support, including medication management, group therapy, and life-skills workshops. While we do not accept volunteers due to the vulnerable condition of our residents, we rely on generous donations to fund essential services and supplies for our programs.
